About the event
Tunisian crochet is a fiber art technique that combines elements of knitting and crochet to create a dense, woven-like fabric perfect for creating custom appliqués. In this class, students will learn and practice the tunisian crochet technique with lace weight cotton thread. Students will also learn how to identify, read, and translate any textile grid pattern as a workable guide to their appliqué design.
Materials and Skillset: Tunisian Crochet hook, patterns, and cotton thread will be provided by teacher (Materials available to take home) -It is highly recommended that students have some experience with crochet as the hooks and thread gauge used in this course may be difficult for total beginners.
