Craft Society is a creative duo focused on making Heritage and Folk Craftwork accessible to New Yorkers. We host weekly workshops, community evenings, and private events. We are based in Gowanus Brooklyn- come say hi!
Our Story
Isabelle and Noa met on a trampoline in April of 2024. They got to know each other between breathless jumps.
After exchanging numbers, they met for dinner and had pancakes and Shirley temples and talked about everything under the sun. Isabelle was a schoolteacher and was stuck creatively. Noa had just left her job and desired to cultivate community.
Craft Society was born that night.
Their first business meeting was held at an old school soda shop, because they take everything extremely seriously. They sipped milkshakes and took handwritten notes.
After spending a year and a half hosting folk and heritage craft workshops pop-up-style, they signed a lease and opened a brick in mortar in January 2026.
