About the event
In this one day course you will learn:
· Basic necessary sewing terminology & equipment
· How to read a pattern
· A variety of stitches & seam finishes you can complete using a sewing machine!
Project: a lovely Sailor Hat with many options to customize! Add ties, grommets, a bow, contrast stitching...
Materials: All materials will be provided; we source all of our fabric second-hand and have a wide variety of solids and patterns to choose from! Each guest will leave with at least 2 finished hats- you are welcome to make more if you have the time.
