About the event
In this one day course you will learn:
· Basic necessary sewing terminology & equipment
· How to read a pattern
· A variety of stitches & seam finishes you can complete using a sewing machine!
Project: a lovely hosting apron perfect for holiday festivities. Each guest will start by sewing a canvas base, and will get to customize the fabrics and placements for pockets. If time allows, guests can also embroider initials onto front of apron.
Materials: All materials will be provided; we source all of our fabric second-hand and have a wide variety of solids and patterns to choose from for pockets.
