Mending 101

We will be teaching you how to hand-darn; a traditional method for repairing fabric damage or holes that do not run along a seam. Guests will practice on scrap fabric before being able to darn their own damaged pieces from home!

We encourage you to bring in some well-loved items that need repair, but if you just want to learn on scrap fabric, that is totally fine!

Craft Society is a creative duo aiming to make art and craftwork accessible to young New Yorkers. We host weekly workshops for friends and strangers to come together and create.
