Marieclaire of Wyntro will be teaching guests how to sew and assemble a leather bag.
In this workshop you will learn how to hand sew a leather bag made from locally tanned, traceable hides provided by Pergamena Tannery in the Hudson Valley.
In this workshop, we will learn more about the local leather we work with, and how to make beautiful creations from this versatile material!
Wyntro is a sustainable fashion project that creates products from natural materials sourced in the northeast bioregion, made by hand by craftspeople in Brooklyn.
A part of Wyntro’s ethos is empowering people to become curious about where their clothes come from, and how they are made.
Craft Society is a creative duo aiming to make art and craftwork accessible to young New Yorkers. We host weekly workshops for friends and strangers to come together and create.
