Korean Paper Kites

Join Craft Society for an intimate, hands-on evening of kite-making, rooted in Korean folk tradition. We’ll craft artful bangpaeyeon kites, or shield kites, using mulberry paper and natural materials, inspired by age-old designs from Korea.

Craft Society is a creative duo aiming to make folk and heritage craftwork accessible to young New Yorkers. We host weekly workshops for friends and strangers to come together and create.
