Hand-Sewn Appliqués

Appliqué is a decorative needlework technique where smaller pieces of fabric (shapes, motifs, or patches) are layered and stitched onto a larger base fabric to create design and texture. You will learn how to design/cut appliqués, as well as different ways to attach them to our garments by hand.

It is recommended that you bring a garment you would like to decorate, but guests are also welcome to work on scrap pieces to create samples!

Materials: Choose from our selection of vintage and second-hand fabric.

Hand sewing experience is not required but can be helpful :)
